Billie Eilish wears Powerpuff Girls suit to accept award from Julia Roberts

Billie Eilish loves a cartoon-covered matching set.

The pop star, 17, attended the ASCAP Pop Music Awards in Beverly Hills on Thursday night wearing a khaki-colored vest and coordinated chinos printed with large photos of the three Powerpuff Girls. She paired those pieces with an oversize white button-up shirt, a Gucci logo-covered messenger bag, white Privé Revaux “The Bermuda” sunglasses ($29.95) and lots of diamond necklaces, bracelets and rings.

During the awards ceremony, the “Bad Guy” singer and her older brother Finneas O’Connell were both presented with the Vanguard trophy by Julia Roberts. The 51-year-old actress gushed over the pair during her introduction speech, saying, “It’s thrilling to be here tonight to help celebrate these two people who are so uniquely gifted. Such inventive wordsmiths. Such wondrous musicians. And that they are, in fact, brother and sister is pretty darn special. Together they built universes of chaos, heartbreak and humor that we never realized that we longed for.”

Eilish has also explained her penchant for oversized clothing in the past, saying in a recent campaign video for Calvin Klein, “I never want the world to know everything about me. I mean, that’s why I wear big baggy clothes. Nobody can have an opinion because they haven’t seen what’s underneath, you know? Nobody can be like ‘oh she’s slim-thick, she’s not slim-thick, she got a flat ass, she got a fat ass.’ Nobody can say any of that because they don’t know.”
