Since it began eight years ago, this movement has raised more than $1 billion online in the U.S. alone. Companies are continuing to use this post-Thanksgiving event to either kick off their holiday giving campaigns or wrap up year-end initiatives.
Here's a taste of what companies of all sizes are doing this GivingTuesday.
Celebrity eyewear brand Privé Revaux announced an ongoing partnership with RestoringVision, a nonprofit global health organization that distributes glasses to people in need.
