Whether he’s stepping out in a camel suit and matching turtleneck for a TV appearance or sitting front row at Fashion Week in an aviator jacket, Matt Bomer rarely puts a foot wrong in the fashion department. But thanks to social distancing, his style’s looked somewhat different this year.
“I spent the first couple of months of the pandemic in athleisure wear 24/7. I just wanted to feel comfortable. Outdoor Voices, Vuori, ATM — the softer, the better,” the “Doom Patrol” star, 42, told Page Six Style.
“But then we started doing everything via Zoom and it was a great reason to dress up a bit, even for a workout class. It was nice to be held accountable.
These days, Bomer is stepping up his work-from-home uniform. “I try to dress a bit nicer during the day, even if I’m just writing, before I settle in at night so that I feel like I have some sense of structure,” he said. “I love the knit polos and pique polos from Todd Snyder, and the camp shirts from Onia. They’re one of my favorite summer brands. And living in LA, I go on (socially distanced) walks every day, so I never leave the house without a pair of sunglasses that I like.”
And thanks to his new collaboration with fellow actor Ashley Benson for Privé Revaux, Bomer’s got plenty of eyewear options to choose from.
